Laureen Harder-Gissing

Session: Mennonite Ebbs and Flows: Two Centuries Along the Grand

Laureen Harder-Gissing holds a degree in History from the University of Waterloo, a masters in Religion and Culture from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a masters in Information Studies from the University of Toronto. Laureen began her role as Archivist-Librarian of Conrad Grebel University College in 2009. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance historical researcher and writer in the Ontario Mennonite community. Laureen has been involved with several projects to bring Mennonite history to the wider public, and has held several leadership roles in the Mennonite historical community. Laureen is currently researching a co-authored book on the history of Mennonites in Canada from 1970 to the present.
